World Asthma Day 2025: Why We Built Asthma Friend

Issue #2

Why We Built Asthma Friend?

This World Asthma Day, I’m taking a moment to reflect on something personal.

Living with asthma means constantly adapting.
Avoiding places that others find relaxing.
Canceling plans. Choosing silence when speaking is too hard.

And honestly sometimes, it feels invisible to the world.

That’s exactly why I created Asthma Friend.
A space where we speak openly about the real-life struggles of asthma.

In our latest podcast episode, I walk you through:

  • My own challenges living with asthma in India
  • The stories we’ve published: 90+ blogs and counting
  • Why our podcast is AI-generated (hint: there are days I simply can’t speak)
  • The power of a growing community learning to breathe easier, together

Let’s continue this journey of awareness, empathy, and support.
If this episode resonates with you, please share it with someone who needs to hear it.

Stay safe, stay supported.

See you next week!
